Middle Years Programme
MYP is a framework that encourages students to create practical connections between what they learn in school and the world in which they live. Through Global Contexts and different approaches to teaching and learning students are encouraged to become internationally minded people.
This programme can last from two to six years, and students who successfully complete it are well prepared to continue their education in the IB Diploma programme. MYP and DP are parts of IB continuum, which starts with Primary Years Programme (PYP), which is present at Ruđer Bošković School since September 2015 (candidate phase).
Here at Ruđer Bošković School, MYP framework will last for six years (for 11 to 16 year old students). At the end of a final year (MYP 5) students produce Personal Project, related to Global Context of their own choice. They inquire, investigate, take actions and evaluate their own work, and their work is presented at the Personal Project Exhibition.
Language of instruction is English, with a support and help for Serbian language, acoording to our Language Policy.
