Venice 2026
At the end of September, first-year MYP4 students from the “Ruđer Bošković” High School went on a five-day school trip to Italy.During our trip, we stayed in Lido di Jesolo and visited some of Italy’s most beautiful and famous places, including Venice, Murano, Burano, Verona, and Padua. On the second day, we explored Venice, a city famous for its canals, bridges, and beautiful architecture. We visited St. Mark’s Square, admired St. Mark’s Basilica, and walked through the narrow streets filled with shops and traditional Venetian masks. The following day, we visited the islands of Murano and Burano. In Murano, we had the opportunity to see how traditional Venetian glass is made, while Burano amazed us with its colorful houses and charming streets. On the fourth day, we travelled to Verona, where we saw the famous Juliet’s House and learned more about the story of Romeo and Juliet. We also explored Padua, a city known for its beautiful squares, historic buildings, and rich culture. This trip was not only an opportunity to discover new places and learn about Italian history and culture, but also a chance to become closer as classmates, share unforgettable experiences, and create beautiful memories. We returned to Belgrade with plenty of photographs, funny stories, and memories that we will cherish for a long time.
