The closing ceremony of Ruđer Bošković Elementary School

In Madlenianum, on Saturday, July 8th, we traditionally and ceremoniously saw off the 16th generation of our elementary school graduates. We have never had a bigger number of students in a generation before of which we are very proud. The guests and graduates were first addressed by the general manager of our school, Dragan Štulić, and the director, Jelena Poznić, followed by our contestants, of whom we are infinitely proud. For the first time this year, the “Dragana Pavlićević” Award was presented, the winner of which was the teacher Dejan Pavlović. The presentation of this award was initiated by the student Aleksandar Drakulić Šok in memory of the teacher Dragana. This was followed by the “Beauty and the Beast” play which was prepared by the members of the Drama and Music Club of our school, and this year they were supported by the High School students. Besides the children, some of our teachers also tried their hand at acting.
The reaction of the audience is hard to put into words. They dazzled us with their talent, acting, dancing, singing, beautiful costumes, scenography… They pushed the boundaries of their creativity and love for what they do.
The final and most exciting part of the evening was the parade of our graduates and the announcement of Sonja Pijanović as the valedictorian (the student of the generation), followed by fireworks in honor of another generation leaving our school.
