St. Sava recital
The most significant person of Serbian spiritual heritage, St. Sava, has endured in our collective memory for eight centuries. This year, the primary school drama club prepared a performance to mark the day dedicated to his memory. Since 27th January is known as “slava” (patron saint’s day) for schools, our students represented the traditions related to “slava” in their performance. We learned about the origin of this tradition and its main attributes. The performers had to overcome great challenges. Due to the flu epidemic, many of them received their roles on the day of the performance. Students from both primary and secondary school attended the performance. Dragan Štulić, the school General Manager, presented awards to the most successful primary and secondary school students.
