The Spawn of a Carp- Atelje 212
On 12th January high school students spent their Saturday evening in Atelje 212. We watched ‘The spawn of a carp’ and we were well prepared. This Aleksandar Popovic’s play is in our school programme so we revised our knowledge about certain moments in Serbian history. The theatre was full, the actors were excellent and the audience was delighted. The theme was grave, but if we realized that life was full of tragic and comic moments we would have chance to feel catharsis and think of the demise of family and an individual through social turmoil.
