EU Code Week 2023

Grade 5 students attending KAŠ programming this year participated in the European Programming Week, EU Code Week 2023, which was launched in 2013 by the Young Advisors for the European Digital Agenda.
The European Commission supports EU Programming Week as part of its strategy for the Digital Single Market. In the Action Plan for Digital Education, the Commission specifically encourages schools to join the initiative. The goal is to help more young people master the basics of programming and computational thinking. In addition to students from our school, many other schools from the European Union also participated, and all our activities can be seen on the map.

They first read the sheet music of the songs, then translated the notes and their duration into a digital record. By combining blocks for writing down the code and buttons on the microbit simulator, the students “transcribed” two compositions that we enjoyed listening to.
Well done to our little developers!
