Concerts for Children

Students in Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 attended the children’s concert series traditionally held each March at the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra.

The children’s programme combines all the hallmarks of a true symphonic concert, with a full orchestra on stage, a conductor, and a classical repertoire. What makes the experience accessible and engaging for younger audiences is the addition of an actor-narrator.

Costumes, illustrations, instrument demonstrations, and interactive elements are just some of the ways the programme brings the world of symphonic music to life for children.

Over the past several seasons, the series has delighted audiences with acclaimed performances including Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, music from the Harry Potter films, Peter and the Wolf, The Carnival of the Animals, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, The Story of Babar, and the symphonic fairy tale The Nutcracker.

This March, our pupils were treated to Little Stories About a Great Composer — Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
