A Visit to the Her Perspective Exhibition

On 27 March, Year 4 students attending the Serbian national programme, along with several students from the international programme and Year 3 history students, visited the Her Perspective exhibition at the Zemun Heritage Museum.

The visit was organised as part of the history curriculum, with the aim of broadening students’ knowledge and exposing them to different perspectives on the past. The exhibition presented the theme of women’s experience and the role of women across various historical and social contexts in a thought-provoking way, offering students a fresh perspective on history.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the exhibits carefully, read the accompanying texts, and gain a deeper understanding of the themes at the heart of the exhibition. The museum visit proved to be both an enjoyable and enriching experience, bridging classroom learning with authentic museum content and demonstrating how history can feel vivid and relevant beyond the walls of the classroom.

The exhibition left a strong impression on the students and served as a reminder of the important role that cultural institutions play in the education of young people.
