Ruđer Boškovic School
Ruđer Bošković School is a unique school system comprising the first private Primary School and High School in Serbia. Both schools are accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia (accreditation decision numbers: 022‑05‑41/2005‑03 of 20 April 2005, 610‑00‑0134/2007‑07 of 26 March 2007, and 022‑05‑065/2003‑03 of 12 March 2003).
Primary School
Ruđer Bošković Primary School follows the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. Since the 2015/16 school year, the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) has been implemented for pupils aged 5 to 11, and since the 2016/17 school year, the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) has been implemented in the upper grades of the primary school.
High school
Ruđer Bošković High School follows the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, as well as international educational programmes: the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme.
Ruđer Bošković School is characterised by modern teaching methods, continuous analysis of all aspects of teaching and student support, a wide range of extracurricular activities, and optimally sized classes (from 10 to 20 students). Together, these elements enable our students to acquire a broad and well‑rounded general education while also developing the skills and personal qualities needed for learning and life in the 21st century.
The school day includes an extended day programme.
In addition to regular classes, students can take part in a wide range of extracurricular activities in various areas: sport, dance, the arts (design, choir, film, drama), foreign languages, linguistics, journalism, mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, environmental education, and chess.
Learning also takes place outside the classroom through school trips, student exchanges, outings, and language and sports camps.
Throughout the year, the school organises visits to cultural and science institutions, along with guest lectures by distinguished artists, writers, athletes, and researchers.
