Why do we say that?

In October, we traditionally hold an experimental class called Why do we say that? This year the topic was Greek mythology and the participants were first grade students and our Latin teacher. We sat in a circle, drew slips of paper with phrases from Greek mythology and discussed them. The best students in grade 1b were Natalija and Danilo and in 1a Mihailo.

We have just begun this topic; we are expecting the play The Divine Assembly at the end of November and interesting adventure through the maze of mythology. “Intrigues and plots in Ancient Greece” will certainly grab our interest, and the knowledge that we gained today will surely be our Ariadne’s string through contemporary literature!
