Trip to Novi Sad

On 20th May 2025, Grade 8 students enjoyed a school outing to Novi Sad. The whimsical spring weather greeted our travellers with sunshine all day long. With the help of knowledgeable tour guides, the students were treated to an engaging and informative story about one of the largest fortresses in Europe. They learned about the fascinating history of its construction, as well as about the Church of St. Mary, the Bishop’s Palace, the City Hall, and the Serbian Orthodox Church dedicated to St. George. They also visited monuments to Svetozar Miletić and Jovan Jovanović Zmaj. Teachers and homeroom teachers added many insights, underlining key details throughout the visit. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, clever jokes, warmth, fun, and a shared desire to make the most of the day. All eyes are now on the upcoming school trip to Niš, where the good times will stretch over five days.
