Our adventure in Malta started on the first day when we arrived in Sliema, where we checked into our hotel. We spent the afternoon exploring this charming town, admiring the Mediterranean architecture and enjoying the local cuisine. On the second day, we went on a tour of Mdina, a city that charmed us all with the fact that it was the set for the Game of Thrones series. In Valletta and Mdina we also learned a lot about the rich history of the Knights of Malta. Of course, we could not visit Malta, an island with beautiful beaches, without indulging in the charms of the sea. We had a wonderful time on the beach, enjoying the sun and having fun playing in the sand. On the fourth day, we decided to explore the three towns of Vittoriosa, Copiscua and Senglea (where the Knights of Malta resided before the construction of the new capital), each with its own unique charm and character. Vittoriosa is one of the oldest towns in Malta and was the capital before the arrival of the Knights of St. John in 1530. The city is famous for its impressive Fort St. Angelo, which played a key role in the defense of Malta during the Great Siege of Malta.
