Titelski Breg
On March 16, 2026, first-year secondary school students took part in a school trip to Titel that turned into a fun and educational experience.
Titelski Breg is a unique loess plateau in the Vojvodina region, rising above the flat landscape near the Tisa River and preserving geological records dating back around 650,000 years. It is also an important natural reserve known for its rich biodiversity, including rare steppe species and internationally significant bird habitats.
In addition to its natural importance, the area has cultural and historical value, reflecting the long presence of human activity and heritage in the region. The visit included the Institute for Nature Protection “Titelski Breg”, where students learned about the rich history of the area, followed by a walk to the Kalvarija viewpoint.
The group enjoyed a scenic hike with beautiful views, especially overlooking the Tisa River. The day combined learning, nature, and socializing, leaving a lasting impression and a desire to return.
