The Museum of Applied Arts

Our Grade1 students are inquiring into materials, so they visited the Museum of Applied Arts on 2 March.

At the permanent exhibition “At the First Sight”, they were able to see various interesting art objects from the Wood and Period Furniture Department, the Metalwork and Jewelry Department, Textile and Costume Department, and Ceramics, Porcelain and Glass Department.

The collection contains very valuable artefacts made of precious materials – mother-of-pearl, ivory, gemstones, gold.

We enjoyed the visit and broadened our knowledge.
