The 15th “Ahmad Isak” Memorial Tournament

Ruđer once again hosted the “Ahmad Isak” Memorial Tournament this year, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, with the participation of students from the 14th and 9th Belgrade High Schools. We played basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and chess accompanied by music, and for those who did not participate in sports, refreshments were available along with, of course, excellent company.

After three hours of fierce competition and rounds, we announced the following winners:

Basketball: 14th Belgrade High School (1^st place), “Ruđer Bošković” High School (2^nd place), “Ahmad Isak” team, “Ruđer Bošković” High School (3^rd place)

Volleyball: 14th Belgrade High School (1^st place), 9th Belgrade High School (2^nd place), “Ruđer Bošković” High School (3^rd place)

Table Tennis: Kosta Nestorović (1^st place, 14th Belgrade High School), Andrej Dardić (2^nd place, “Ruđer Bošković” High School), Vuk Aćimović (3^rd place, “Ruđer Bošković” High School)

            Chess: Ognjen Jović (1^st place, 14th Belgrade High School), Egor Sidelnikov (2^nd place, “Ruđer Bošković” High School), Diogo Madeira Sapha (3^rd place, “Ruđer Bošković” High School)

We would like to thank the students from the 14th and 9th Belgrade High Schools, their teachers, and everyone else who participated in the tournament. As with every year, we had a wonderful time and look forward to hosting the “Ahmad Isak” Memorial Tournament again next year (which will be the 16^th one in a row)!
