Researchers’ Night

On Friday, November 27, the first-year high school students (MYP 4) marked the Researchers’ Night. They watched videos of two experiments carried out at Faculty of Physical Chemistry of University in Belgrade. The first was about chemiluminescence, a chemical reaction used in forensics, where the students were shown an experiment that has real life application in solving crimes. The second one was about the silver mirror reaction, a chemical reaction that forms of a reflective metallic silver layer on glass and is used in the production of mirrors.

The students were engaged and showed a lot of interest in learning about other interesting experiments that are posted on the same website as the two they watched.
