Religious mosaic

We started our cultural orientation on the trail of different religions on December 21st with a visit to the Belgrade Bajrakli Mosque. In a wonderful conversation with an imam (a muslim religous leader), we learned many interesting facts about religion, marriage, and sin. We continued onto the Museum of the Orthodox Church where we heard about the culture of Serbian people that was created and preserved under the auspices of the church. The most significant relic for us is the Praise to Prince Lazar from 1402, which we know from our school textbooks.
