We are delighted to share that our exceptional students, Petar Tolimir and Aleksandar Vasilić, proudly represented Ruđer Bošković School at the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE Geospatial and Environmental Dynamics – LAMINATION, held on 15–16 November 2025 at the Branch of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia.

This prestigious event gathered 198 participants from countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America—including Serbia, Montenegro, Poland, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Ethiopia, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Croatia, the United Kingdom, Romania, Slovenia, Italy, Denmark, Germany, the United States, Tajikistan, China, and Canada. Over two days, the conference featured around 100 high-quality scientific presentations, both oral and poster.

Amid such an international and competitive scientific environment, Petar and Aleksandar stood out with their excellence, professionalism, and maturity.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Tin Lukić, together with Gordana Petković Srzentić and Milenko Miljić, they presented their joint research:

“Stabilizing the Unstable: The Role of Black Locust in Erosion Control on Loess Plateaus”

through a polished and well-received poster presentation. Their work was also recognized through publication in the official Book of Abstracts, a significant accomplishment for high-school researchers.

We are immensely proud of Petar and Aleksandar—not only for their scientific curiosity and hard work, but also for their courage to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with university students, researchers, and experts from around the world. Their achievement reflects the highest values of our school: knowledge, persistence, and academic excellence.
