Online Safety

Grade 4 students had the opportunity to attend an engaging session on online safety. They discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using the internet, as well as the rules for safe behaviour in the digital environment. Special emphasis was placed on safety, learning, and fun—students were taught the importance of being kind and respectful online, avoiding hurtful words, and reporting any problems or uncomfortable situations to a trusted adult.

The aim of the session was to help students develop responsible and safe online habits, so that the online world can be a source of knowledge and enjoyment rather than risk.

This session was organised and supported by the Čukarica Municipality in collaboration with Katarina Jonev, an online safety expert, and the Centre for Developmental Education Trougao. It is part of our school’s ongoing collaboration with the local community.
