Music workshop
On Thursday, October 8, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students attended a music workshop that aimed to make them more familiar with classical music, in a different way, adapted to their age. Taking part in three activities, the students got acquainted with the popular work of Camille Saint-Saens, “Animal Carnival” and while listening they expressed their feelings through elements of music. They listened to music, drew, guessed the instruments and got acquainted with them. In the end, the students had the opportunity to be part of the orchestra by performing a rhythm on some Orff instruments. They had a great time and at the same time learned something new about music.
