Museum of African Art
On 11th February, our Grade 1 students visited the Museum of African Art, where they learned about the lifestyle and culture of the people who live on this continent. They were amazed by the unique artistic expression of the African cultures. They learned that natural materials can be used to create unusual sculptures and various musical instruments. What made the greatest impression on them were the ritual masks. In the final part of the visit, the students created their own masks using various materials.
