Moby Dick
On Thursday, 14th January 2020, the grade 4 students went to Little Theatre Duško Radović where they saw a play, Moby Dick.
Moby Dick was described as the most ferocious and dangerous whale ever encountered by seafarers. In 1851 Herman Melville wrote a novel in which the hunt for this whale by Captain Ahab and the crew of Pequod turns into an epic adventure and a battle of cosmic proportions.
The main character of the play is an unusual girl, Rachel, who dares to see Moby Dick in a different light. She was able to see in this whale much more than what was described in all the written records about it.
