Let’s protect nature

During the PYP Exhibition, our 5B student, Timofei Tabakman, inquired into plastic pollution. He wanted to learn more about how pollution affects the survival of the natural world, as well as the dangers posed by microplastics to humans and animals.

After conducting his mini research and talking with the Geography and Physics teacher, Timofei decided to take action by placing collection boxes for plastic bottle caps in several locations around the school for the organization ‘Čep za hendikep’ (A Bottle Cap for Handicap). Students and teachers at our school will join in collecting plastic caps from plastic bottles, thus helping to reduce plastic pollution in nature and the living world.
