Internet safety

February 11 is celebrated as the Safer Internet Day around the world, with a special focus on the children’s safety on the Internet.

On that occasion, our school was visited by Mr. Sasa Zivanovic, the recently retired head of the Department for the Fight against High-Tech Crime in the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia.

The first in a series of planned lectures was held for Grade 6 students.

What dangers lurk on the Internet, how to recognize situations that can be risky and fatal for children and young people, how to prevent and warn them are just some of the questions we dealt with during the lecture.
