On 11 February 2026, our Grade 9 students went on an excursion to Topola and Orašac. On their final primary school trip, they spent the day socialising, enjoying the experience, and attentively listening to their teacher, Dejan, as well as the guides at Karađorđe’s Residence, King Peter’s House, the Church of the Most Holy Mother of God, and the memorial site in Orašac. The First Serbian Uprising, its causes and course, along with the biography of Karađorđe and the story of the Karađorđević dynasty, were presented vividly and engagingly. Students also learned many fascinating details about the Church of the Most Holy Mother of God and its crypt.

Despite the cold weather, the students thoroughly enjoyed the trip and created lasting memories to treasure from their primary school years.
