How we express ourselves

On Tuesday, 31^st January, the Grade 3 students embarked on a new transdisciplinary unit, “How we express ourselves” (Stories can be told and experienced in many ways). To kickstart this unit, we utilized the knowledge and experience of a film industry producer. Our guest lecturer was Nemanja Mićić, Jana’s dad. Through his presentation, we delved into the various roles involved in conceptualizing and creating a film. We learned about the secrets of acting and discovered some cinematic tricks. We grasped that even for films, advertising is necessary, understanding the differences between teasers and trailers. We also discussed the serious issue of film piracy and gained insights into the fundamental elements of a screenplay, which serves as the foundation for every film.
