How the World Works
On Thursday, 12th April 2025, Grade 3 students visited a prefabricated house manufacturing company as part of their unit within the transdisciplinary theme How the World Works. During the visit, they learned about the various stages of production, from design and material selection to assembly and final installation. They discovered what insulation is, why it’s important, and how energy efficiency in homes is achieved. This educational outing allowed them to gain a practical understanding of the entire process, from idea to project realisation and to recognise the importance of details in creating high-quality and sustainable homes.
