How the world works
As part of the How the World Works transdisciplinary unit, Grade 3 students are studying the impact of environmental factors on the design of objects. On Tuesday, 5th April, we had a guest lecturer, architect Miroslav Pašagić. He introduced us to the application of scientific principles in building construction, and we learned about the history of buildings from the Egyptian pyramids to modern structures made of steel and glass. The engaging presentation covered the entire process of creating a building, from project design and construction to its final appearance. The concluding part of the session was dedicated to numerous questions from the students.
