Houses today and in the past
On Wednesday, 4th November, our grade 1 students visited Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade and took part in a workshop “Houses today and in the past”. The workshop is a part of the educational project “The child and tradition” which the museum started in 2003.
The students’ task was to place the pictures of the objects used in the past onto the plan of a traditional mountain house and, in this way, find out how people used to live in the countryside. After they finished this task, they went on an adventure of finding various objects in the museum’s exhibition.
