Hippo International English Language Competition

This year as well, a preliminary round of Hippo International English language competition was held in our school on April 23. Lots of students were interested in participating and demonstrating their language knowledge in three areas (listening and reading comprehension and use of language). Hippo “English Without Borders“ Olympiad is an international Olympiad which promotes children’s love of English language, communication, as well as a spirit of sporting competitiveness between young people interested in English language and a sense of participation. The semi-final round is also held in Belgrade (two years ago it was held at the Ninth Belgrade High School and last year it was held online due to the pandemic). The final round used to be traditionally held in Italy.

In the meantime, we have received the results. Ten of our students were selected for the preliminary round and they have achieved great results. Some of them even have the maximum number of points. Well done students and teachers. Keep it up!
