Guest Designer

As part of their work on the transdisciplinary theme How the World Works, Grade 3 students hosted Maja Magazin, an interior designer, on 21^st April. Related to the third line of inquiry, which explores the application of scientific principles to the construction of buildings and structures, Maja explained to us how ideas for house and settlement design are developed. She pointed out the various professionals required to create technical documentation for house construction. We learned that, apart from interior designers, the team includes civil engineers, architects, electrical engineers, and horticulture experts. The construction process also involves numerous skilled workers from various other fields.
