Grade 9 Students Visit Banksy in Belgrade Exhibition
On Wednesday, 19th March, Grade 9 students visited the exhibition Banksy in Belgrade, held at the Pop Up Gallery. We spent this lovely, sunny March afternoon exploring the world of one of the most famous and mysterious contemporary artists.
With the expert guidance of the curator, students had the opportunity to learn about Banksy’s distinctive style and the provocative messages that define his body of work. Through an engaging story and analysis of the artworks, we discovered how street art shapes contemporary art and social criticism in the 21st century.
This exhibition sparked a discussion about the role of art in public spaces and its power to provoke change, inspiring students to critically reflect on the world around them.
