As part of the Art unit Second Face, which explores cultural symbols connected to identity, oral tradition, and performance, our Grade 7 students visited the Museum of African Art. Following the visit, students will create their own artwork inspired by traditional objects, reinterpreting them through a contemporary idea, function, and meaning.
