On Wednesday, 26 November, our Grade 6 and Grade 7 students set sail on an entirely new theatrical adventure as they watched Treasure Island, directed by Kokan Mladenović. This modern interpretation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel left us speechless and reminded us just how much we miss adventure, challenge, and the thrill of a journey.

In search of pirate treasure, together with the characters on stage, we travelled through a story of growing up, friendship, love, betrayal, and courage. Great stories are the ones that pull us in and change us, and this play does exactly that—it speaks to the child within each of us and trusts that this child is ready to discover and reshape the world.
