G2 visits the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute
On Wednesday, 1st February, the Grade 2 students visited the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute as part of their ongoing inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit “How we organize ourselves,” where they learned about weather measurements and observations. Andreja Stanković, the head of the department for areological and special meteorological issues, introduced them to meteorological stations that conduct ground-level measurements. Following that, at exactly 12:15, the students witnessed the launch of a meteorological balloon into the atmosphere. Attached to the balloon was a device equipped with sensors to collect data on temperature, pressure, and humidity levels in the air.
