On 2 March, students of Ruđer Bošković High School put on a charity perfomance  Following the Footsteps of Branislav Nušić at Čukarica Cultural Centre. The play tells the story of the life of our great comedian and playwright, Branislav Nušić.

The play was directed by Katarina Urošević. It was conceived as a collage of episodes from Nušić’s life, combining excerpts from his novel Autobiography, scenes from the plays A Suspicious Person and Dr, as well as anecdotes from his personal life and his friendships with the renowned actresses of the time, Žanka Stokić and Ljubinka Bobić.

The stage managers were once again Aleksandar Vasilić and Katarina Urošević.

Preparing the play with this group was a true pleasure. The actors are wonderful, enthusiastic, inspiring, and talented, which is clearly visible in the energy they share on stage.

All proceeds from the performance will be donated to soup kitchens and the Drop in Shelter for Children. We would like to thank everyone who attended the performance and the participants who supported this event.
