Effective Communication workshops
In the previous period, a series of workshops on communication was conducted.
When we want to convey a message, we communicate. It’s not just about what we say, but also how we say it – our body language, hand gestures, facial expressions. Often, there’s a difference between what we intended to communicate and how our conversational partner interpreted and understood us.
It’s equally important to learn how to listen to what someone wants to convey to us. By doing so, we perceive, hear, and feel everything that the words they use are actually trying to communicate.
Communication is a beautiful skill that can be learned, practiced, and improved upon. It becomes important if you want to understand yourself better, understand the people around you, notice and accept the differences that exist among individuals, including how they perceive you, hear you, or how they feel in your presence.
The Grade 4A students were interested in becoming adept communicators and learning how to express their ideas and opinions clearly and confidently, while also being able to accept others’ viewpoints. They aimed to put themselves in other people’s shoes, so that they can understand them better and get along with them. leading to better understanding and harmony.
