Cote d’Azur
An unforgettable excursion on the Cote d’Azur is one of the most beautiful trips of our schooling! We visited various places that we were excited about from the beginning, such as the seaside cities of Nice, Monte Carlo and Cannes. Located in San Remo, we would go out every evening for a walk or a swim in the sea, as if there weren’t enough activities during the day. So much so that only when we arrived, we got pain in our legs.
Nice, our first stop, is the second most visited city in the world, and we realised why. The fountain, which looks like a real waterfall, is an interesting landmark, which also fits in with the alleys next to it.
Admiring the architecture and classical look of almost all the places we visited, including Nice, Cannes, Menton, San Remo, Monte Carlo and Antibes.
Monte Carlo has the largest ocean museum and I liked that it was educational, with various simulations, exhibits and interesting facts. There are a lot of animals that just look funny, like the stingray for example. In Cannes, the festival spirit is very present, the colossal hall and decorated streets act as a place for social gatherings and music.
Each city had something that is specific, but each was equally wonderful.
