City basketball competition

In the beautiful atmosphere of Sumice Sports Center and in the excellent organization of The Belgrade Association for School Sports, the students of our school participated in the city competition. After winning the first place in the municipality of fifteen schools, they were about to compete with the champion teams of other municipalities.

While reaching their goal, Rudjer team met with representatives of the municipalities: Mladenovac, Barajevo, Stari grad, New Belgrade and Voždovac. Good atmosphere, great attitude and skilful performance distinguished our team from the others, and the final result was a gold medal and a hold a special place special place in Rudjer’s showcase of success.

The names that are responsible for winning this success are: Ognjen Srzentic, Mihajlo Markovic (captain), Kosta Trifunovic, Andrej Ivanic, Vuk Danilovic, Lazar Savic, Filip Bajkovic, Boris Milosevic, Mijat Cvijovic and Aleksandar Radic, all under the baton of a teacher. Lekić Aleksandra.

All the boys played magnificently, always as a team, but the two names that attracted a lot of attention are Ognjen Srzentić and Mihajlo Marković. They took the titles of the best players in the basketball 3 on 3 tournament.

The game of this superb team continues. We will have the opportunity to provide great ideas, focus and connection in the game in the regional competition, where we will do our best to show even better results and we are looking forward to be greeted with loud applause by the end of the school graduation.

The regional competition will be held at the end of next week.
