Celebrating European Sports Day at Our School
On Friday, 26th September, our school joined the European School Sports Day (ESSD) for the first time, an event celebrated across Europe during European Week of Sport. The initiative aims to promote physical activity, health, cooperation, and the joy of playing sports among students.
A fantastic atmosphere filled the school playground and sports grounds, with students enthusiastically taking part in a variety of activities. From table tennis and darts to football, volleyball, basketball, and dodgeball, every game was filled with laughter, excitement, and opportunities for fair play.
Through play and friendly competition, our students had the chance to develop their sportsmanship, teamwork, and social skills, which are key goals of this European programme.
By participating in this event, our school joined thousands of others across Europe in highlighting the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Everyone had a great time, and we can’t wait for next year and new sporting challenges!
