Botanical Garden
Grade 7 students visited the Jevremovac Botanical Garden in Belgrade: Grade 7a on Thursday, 2nd October, and Grade 7b on Thursday, 16th October 2025. This visit was educational in nature and formed part of the biology curriculum. The trip was led by the biology teacher, Vesna Hlavati Širka, accompanied by the homeroom teachers Branislava Grubišić and Jelena Popović Rakočević.
After a brief introductory lecture by the guide on the history of the garden, the students set off on a tour. During the walk, in addition to seeing various types of woody and herbaceous plants, they had the chance to learn about the Japanese garden. They were particularly interested in the greenhouses, which contained tropical plants and cacti.
The guide explained in detail the significance of certain species, such as the Pančić spruce, Ginkgo, and yew. The students participated actively, asking questions and sharing their thoughts about the plants they encountered.
