At the Book Fair

Once again this year, students from Ruđer Bošković School joined the crowd at the 67^th Book Fair, visiting on 23^rd October 2024.We woke up the Fair, arriving early and adding to the buzz and lively rhythm of the event. Our journalists were alert, sensing the atmosphere and waiting to meet renowned authors, though they were not yet present in the early hours. Instead, a short interview was conducted with a comic book artist. Books were purchased based on recommendations or personal preferences and interests.

To conclude with the words of Milena Marković, the playwright, poet, and screenwriter who opened this year’s Book Fair: “What would life be without words? It would not exist, and what would happen to all of us if there were no stories? We wouldn’t be human but something else. And what would happen if we didn’t remember our stories? We wouldn’t exist. This is the place where writers live, where they reveal themselves. They will write the stories that allow us all to endure and grow.”

So, we will grow through books, in every possible way, until next year.
