Mali Dunav
On Tuesday, 6 October, Grade 1 students went on their autumn trip to the Mali Dunav Centre for Fisheries and Applied Hydrobiology.
They explored the grounds, discovering a public aquarium featuring fish species from the Danube, a zoo with waterbirds, a small aquatic botanical garden, a pond turtle sanctuary and much more. The visit also included a boat ride, and the children had the opportunity to try their hand at fishing.
The pleasant surroundings provided plenty of opportunities to play, socialise and enjoy time together, while also discovering new things and learning about the natural world.
