March is the month of the Serbian language, a time to turn our attention to our mother tongue, to listen to its rhythms more carefully and more devotedly.

Even on the last day of February, our young linguists had already begun celebrating this important month for Serbian culture.

At the Municipal Competition held on 28th February 2026 at Ljuba Nenadović Primary School, we had an outstanding performance. Ana Ljubičić, Year 9B, claimed 1st place; Milena Miškulin and Milica Zacero, Year 6A, along with Konstantin Džodan, Year 7A, took 2nd place; while 3rd place went to Aleksandar Pašagić and Nađa Bulatović, Year 6A; Leona Begović, Year 7B; Kalina Kovačević, Year 8B; and Andrej Kovačević, Year 9A.

Lenka Milićević, Year 9B, narrowly missed out on 3rd place by just two points.

As a result, nine out of our ten-strong language team will go on to compete at the District Competition on 21st March 2026.

Congratulations to each and every one of them — for their knowledge, their dedication, and their hard work.
