He has worked as a software developer (Applied Training Resources), a teacher of mathematics, science, and robotics (International School), and a teaching assistant in the Department of Computer Science (Rice University, Houston, Texas, USA).

He has published numerous professional papers and has participated in various projects both domestically and internationally. He is the recipient of the award for Best Presentation and Paper at the RECOMB Comparative Genomics Conference, Lyon, France.
