Tracing the Footsteps of French Friendship

Students learning French at the Ruđer Bošković High School, together with their teachers, spent an unforgettable day exploring places that embody the spirit of France in Belgrade. The tour began with a visit to the French Cemetery, where students paid tribute to the fallen, learned more about French soldiers, and about the long-standing friendship between Serbia and France. After that, they enjoyed a well-deserved break at the French pastry shop Boulangerie, where they had the chance to taste various French pastries and enjoy the authentic French atmosphere, occasionally conversing in the language they are learning. The walk ended in front of the French Embassy, where students observed elegant details on the building and discussed its significance, history, and architecture. This trip was a perfect opportunity for students to experience the French language and culture outside of school, and I am sure this day will remain a fond memory for them.
