National Environmental Science Olympiad (NEO 2025)

On 13^th April 2025, a group of 9 students from our school participated in the national level of the National Environmental Science Olympiad (NEO 2025) in Bor. Under the expert mentorship of their biology teacher, Vesna Hlavati Širka, the students had the opportunity to compete and gain new knowledge and experience in the field of ecology as well.

The competition was a true breath of fresh air, offering participants the chance to socialise, learn about the importance of environmental protection, and develop critical thinking on global environmental challenges. Beyond the competitive spirit, the best part of this experience was the connection between students and the teamwork that allowed them to showcase their talents and gain valuable experience.
