Children Helping Children – Our Students’ Big Hearts

Our primary school students joined the Easter project Children Helping Children initiated by Their Royal Highnesses, Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine.

Every year, the Karađorđević royal couple warmly welcomes more than a thousand children without parental care, children with special needs, Roma children, and socially disadvantaged children to the Easter reception at the White Palace.

All of our primary school students took part in collecting thoughtful gifts, demonstrating their compassionate nature and willingness to help peers in greatest need. The donations were delivered to the White Palace by representatives of the Student Parliament and fifth-grade students during their visit to the Royal Palace on Thursday, 3rd April. During the visit, they had the opportunity to go on a guided tour of the entire complex and learn more about the history and significance of the royal family.

We believe it’s important to teach children the joy of giving from a young age, and the best way to learn that is through their own involvement. With this gesture, our students experienced the joy of giving, bringing happiness to those who need it most, and reminding them that they are not forgotten.
