At the Theatre Festival

Grade 8 students attended Angažman Fest, the 5th Festival of Socially Engaged Theatre for Children and Youth, held at Dom omladine. The mission of this festival is to encourage young people to think independently and creatively about their role in society. This year’s festival carried the slogan, What Is Our Safe Space? On 4th December, our students watched a performance of The Little Prince by Petar Pan Drama Studio from Kragujevac. The play offered a modern take on the universal questions posed by Saint-Exupéry’s timeless work. Without props, stage effects, or elaborate set designs, the young actors surpassed even professional performers with their powerful acting. In an inspired, memorable, skilful, and inventive performance, they delivered a strong message to adults—so profound and truthful that even Saint-Exupéry himself would have applauded.
