Scientific Orienteering at Jevremovac Botanical Garden
On 8 October 2024, third-year students visited the 9th art+science festival, Interlacing, at Jevremovac Botanical Garden. Scientists from the Centre for the Promotion of Science showcased exhibits demonstrating the impact of humans and technology on nature and biodiversity.
Our guide took us through the garden, highlighting plant species typical of our region, allowing students to deepen the knowledge gained in their biology classes.
In the greenhouse, students were tasked with selecting a plant and explaining its adaptations for water absorption and conservation.
It was a wonderful experience, the only downside being that two hours wasn’t enough to fully absorb all the beauty the Botanical Garden offers its visitors.
